Microsoft issued a security advisory on July 6 regarding a vulnerability detected in it's Video ActiveX control. Anyone who takes advantage of this vulnerability could gain privileges identical to a computer's local user rights. Microsoft is aware of recent attacks attempting to take advantage of this vulnerability.
