The University Information Security Office is presenting on the university's Medical Center Campus the week of June 18! Please see our schedule below. Our staff looks forward to answering any questions you might have regarding information security, and the protection of university and health/patient-related data at Georgetown.

Monday, June 18

Laptop Security Tagging, Lot E, Noon-1:00PM
We will be sitting with DPS during this event to emphasize the importance of using university-owned computers for Georgetown business.

Data Security Training:Secure the Data, Building D: Warwick Evans, 2:00-2:30PM
Come out and hear about best practices regarding how to secure the data you work with everyday. Attendees will also hear about how data is classified at Georgetown and the services offered through the University Information Security Office.

Data Security Training:Share the Data, New Research Building Auditorium, 1:00-1:30PM
Come out and hear about how you can securely share confidential and legally-protected data. Attendees will also learn about what types of data are considered confidential and legally-protected, and their role and responsibilities as stewards of this valuable information at Georgetown.

Information Security Q&A, New Research Building Auditorium, 11:00-11:30PM
Bring your questions to this information Q&A session and have them answered by the University Information Security Office staff. NO PRESENTATION will be given at this session. This is strictly a time for you to get answers to your most pressing questions.
