The University Information Security Office is the central contact for all computer and network security and abuse issues at Georgetown University.
Normal operating hours (8:00AM-5:00PM): E-mail us at email@example.com or call us at (202) 687-3031 to report a security incident. An incident involves any real or suspected loss of data or misuse of the University’s information or information systems, including contamination of resources by computer viruses.
After hours, weekends, holidays: Please contact the Operations Center at 202-687-3611 for reporting and assistance after hours, on the weekends or during the holidays.
If your computer is stolen or lost, contact the Department of Public Safety first at 202-687-4343. Then contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To report an incident of online harassment or abuse, send an e-mail message to abuse at georgetown.edu. Make sure to include log files, with your time zone information, or complete message headers.
To report unsolicited bulk e-mail sent from or relayed through a Georgetown computer, forward the e-mail message to spam at georgetown.edu.
