Google announces plans to track user activity, no opt out option

For all Google users, Google just announced a new approach to how they will collect data on its users starting March 1. This new approach will involve collecting and tracking information about user activity across all platforms including GMail, YouTube and general browser searches. They will implement a new privacy policy as well that will allow them to do this without giving users an opt out option.

More information about this new direction and privacy implications to users can be found on The Washington Post's website.
